The dam data is based on GRanDv1.1 (Lehner et al., 2011, DOI: 10.1890/100125), but adjusted to match the river-routing in DDM30. After 2010, the data has been provided by Dr. Jida Wang, from Kansas State University (KSU).

A few of the dams have no information regarding the construction year, and in the varsoc simulations they are assumed to exist during the whole simulation period.
